READ THIS BEFORE WATCHING - This month, I’ve been posting my favorite moments of 2019. This is not one of them. It is a boring restaurant review I did because I was putting a reel together and my editor suggested doing a food segment. The place was booked solid so I got takeout, set up my little camera, and did a bunch of takes about how the mouth watering, Michelin Star pad thai. Some old ladies watched and giggled but I powered through. I finished up and felt accomplished - and then realized I was reviewing the wrong restaurant. The food I ate was not from Jay Fai restaurant. It was from the place next door. There’s a lady pretending to play with her phone behind me who definitely knew what I was doing but didn’t say anything. I was too embarrassed to go to the real restaurant so I packed up my camera and my shame and shuffled home.
