This canyon doesn’t look like much from above but if you’re able to ignore the crowds and fight through the selfie sticks, walking through this slot canyon is an other-worldly experience…

Abuna Yemata Guh is a 5th century church carved into the face of a cliff in northern Ethiopia. Getting to the ornate domed cave requires scaling a 600 foot cliff and then braving a two foot wide ledge. Getting there and back is terrifying but worth it.

I captured a few ghosts in this photo at the iconic Tokyo crossing. What was an accidental snap is one of my favorite photos ever.

As part of their ‘Bull Jumping Ceremony’, the women of the Hamer tribe sing and dance to celebrate one of their boys becoming a man. It’s called the bull jumping ceremony because he gets naked and has to run back and forth across the backs of nine bulls four times to prove his manhood. This was one of the most mind blowing experiences of my life.

This local rodeo features hot shot ranch hands on bucking broncos, barrel racing and mutton busting for the kids. Rodeos are a ton of fun.
