Hi, I'm Eli Newell.  I'm a world traveler and sometimes comedian/actor. I also host an annual wiener dog race on the Oregon Coast. Welcome to my website. As you scroll through the pages, I hope to give off the impression that I’m a charming and approachable guy who’s led an interesting life and is moderately handsome.

On this site, you’ll find some photos organized into a gallery I can’t figure out, some episodes from a youtube show called Don’t Kill Eli in which the audience dictated my itinerary (I started in Beirut!), a bit of the Sony/USA pilot of a dating show I co-created and hosted called Date Night, and some other nonsense if I ever figure out how to be a website savvy gentleman.

In my short life I’ve had the opportunity to live and and travel to some of the weirdest and wondrous places around the world - 75+ countries so far. I love to explore and I’m eager to share. I have crazy stories.

I also trained and performed for years at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theaters in NYC and LA - and on the road with their touring company. On TV you may have seen me on obscure shows on Comedy Central or Adult swim. My proudest acting achievement is having featured roles on both Children’s AND General Hospitals. I was also in Reader’s Digest for a hunky character I played on Conan many years ago. Cool stuff.

I’ll be posting photos and videos here and on my Instagram @elinewell but if that’s not enough for you, I’ve been posting some weird stuff on TikTok @iamelinewell… I made a video about a tree stump in Nevada that got 1.7 million views… so… my life is complete?
